Eid Mubarak everyone, from me and mine to you and yours! With Ramadan gone (sadly), it’s now on us to take on the challenge to continue the things we have learned and developed, and make changes for the better. Let this Eid be a celebration not for the end of a month of fasting where you’ll now be feasting all over the place, but rather, as a celebration of fulfillment and growth, so that you may enjoy the great food and great company you have this blessed day, while applying the lessons you’ve learned and the changes you’ve made this month. Take for example, being moderate in how much you eat today, and continuing to lower your gaze. Enjoy your food, and say salaam when applicable, but remember to always be closer to your faith than to your desires. Just because Ramadan is over, doesn’t mean the worship and betterment of character should stop. Instead, it should increase, because Shaitaan’s back out there, and he’s on the hunt. Ramadan prepared you. Don’t let that go to waste.

We enter Ramadan hungry for food; we leave hungry for Allah.
